The first time I heard the word waist trainer was in an online article from a magazine for women. In the article were presented many celebrities that were using waist trainers to achieve and hourglass silhouette. I was absolutely amazed when I found out that Kim Kardashian, one of my idols, was using the waist trainer on a daily basis. This was her secret for such a beautiful figure all along.
How I decided to try a waist trainer for losing weight
After finding out what amazing the waist trainers are I wanted to try one for myself! After all, I always wished for a small waistline and a flat abdomen and it seemed that the waist cincher was the solution all along. I’ve started reading more about shapewear and I was determined to buy the best waist trainer I could find.
I was impressed to see how many models are out there with interesting prints, colours and very modern designs.
What I found out about waist trainers
While reading about the waist trainers, I found out that they are very popular and they resemble the old corset worn by women from all over the world centuries ago. However, the modern waist trainer is super comfortable and easy to put on and wear. After all, it is made out of high-quality fabrics such as neoprene and latex, which makes it breathable and very soft on the skin.
The waist trainers usually have one, two or three adjustable belts. These belts allow you to adjust the level of compression, so that you will feel the waist trainer tight, but not uncomfortable.
Another interesting aspect about waist trainers that I’ve found out while doing my research was that they can be wear during workouts. It is even recommended to wear your waist cincher when you go to the gym. This way the trainings become more intense and you can lose weight faster.
How to use the waist trainer for getting the results you want
If you don’t know how to properly use a waist trainer, I have some tips for you from my experience so that you can achieve the best results.
My first waist trainer was made out of neoprene and had three adjustable bands. I was afraid it will feel uncomfortable and I won’t be able to wear it. But, when I put it on I find it to be so comfortable that I couldn’t believe it. I’ve started wearing it for two hours a day in my first week and increased the duration by two hours every week until I’ve managed to wear it eight hours a day. My waist trainer before and after results after two months of daily use was absolutely amazing! My waist was visibly smaller and my abdomen was finally getting flat. I was so happy!
Another tip I have for you is to wear your waist trainer when you go jogging or when you workout. If you don’t like to do sports, you can wear the waist trainer at home, but try to wear it daily so that the results will show faster!
